UFX — where it wins, where it loses

UFX does not currently take a column outright against this field. It loses on tier-1 cover, published spread, lapsed licence on file. Its cost per ten lots is not confirmed, so it is left out of the cost ordering rather than estimated.

Column by column

The split

Two lists, no averaging. A broker that takes a column outright appears on the left of it; one that gets beaten on a column appears on the right. Nothing is scored into a single number, because a single number hides which side you actually care about.

Wins on

No column where UFX takes the field outright.

Loses on

  • tier-1 cover
  • published spread
  • lapsed licence on file

Cost per 10 lots is the EUR/USD spread cost of ten round-turn standard lots at the figure above, commission excluded. Where a broker publishes a "from" spread rather than an average, the comparison inherits that limitation — see the unconfirmed list further down.

Licensing

Facts the comparison runs on

On the record

  • CySEC, at its meeting of 30 October 2024, decided to withdraw the Cyprus Investment Firm authorisation number 127/10 of Reliantco Investments Ltd because the company had not provided investment services or performed investment activity for the preceding six months (CySEC decision announcement dated 18 November 2024).
  • Reliantco Investments Ltd appears in the CySEC register under Former Investment Firms (entry 37610).
  • Media reporting (Finance Magnates via TradingView, fxnewsgroup) attributes the UFX brand to Reliantco Investments Ltd and describes the broker as having ceased offering services; earlier directories also list a Belize IFSC authorisation (IFSC/60/256/TS/13) and a Vanuatu licence 14581, neither re-verified against a live primary source.
  • The company had been licensed by CySEC since 2010 (licence 127/10 granted December 2010 per Map S. Platis announcement).

Who beats UFX on price

CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. Between 74% and 89% of retail investor accounts lose money. Verify every figure with the broker before opening an account.
