Fourth additional investment targets Surawong hotel

LHHOTEL plans to issue and offer up to 190 million additional trust units to fund a fourth investment in the leasehold rights to Grand Center Point Surawong after Thailand’s Securities and Exchange Commission accepted its filing.

The planned investment has a maximum value of 3 billion baht. Funding will come from the unit offering, long-term borrowing of up to 1.265 billion baht and cash inside the trust.

Plan would expand portfolio to six properties

The trust said the addition would bring a sixth property into its portfolio under the “The Power of Six” concept. It currently holds five Grand Center Point projects with a combined 2,287 rooms: Terminal 21, Ratchadamri, Sukhumvit 55, Space Pattaya and Pattaya.

LHHOTEL said the Surawong asset differs from its existing Bangkok properties, which are concentrated in central business district locations around Sukhumvit. The manager said the new asset would broaden revenue sources, diversify locations and expand the customer base.

Surawong hotel's reported revenue and occupancy

Grand Center Point Surawong opened in November 2023 and has 399 rooms. The property reported about 150 million baht in revenue in the third quarter of 2026, up about 10% from a year earlier, with an average occupancy rate of 84%.

For the first nine months of 2026, revenue was about 442 million baht, up about 20% year on year, and average occupancy was 81% from January to September.
